Today is such a beautiful day!! Suns out, guns out — haha well not that nice out for me (I need 80 degrees for that)–what can I say?? I’m acclimated to the desert sun.
With such beautiful weather I couldn’t pass up this opportunity for an early morning run — it sure wasn’t my best run, but it wasn’t the worst either. A slow run is better than no run in my book. A swift 2.5 miles really sets you up for a energized day!!

This morning I wanted a super tasty smoothie so I made a Green-colada–haha yes I just made that up.
Green-colada Smoothie Ingredients:
1 tbsp. flax seed
1 handful of chopped kale
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup greek yogurt
1/2 frozen banana
enough flax milk to get the smoothie moving
topped with almond slices
The pineapple in this smoothie gives it such a tropical feeling — going perfect with this sunny weather :]
