As many of you know I started my certification course with BASI pilates this weekend..and wow was it exciting. BASI is such an intense learning program and I will probably be needing to live in a Pilates studio for the next year haha but I couldn’t be more pumped about it. Pilates is a game-changer for sure. I really believe that Pilates is going to grow immensely in the years to come because of it’s ability to capture a mind-body connection while getting a total body workout. Not only that, but Pilates requires awareness, control, and balance — just a few of the characteristics I think we need more of in our lives. I can’t wait to change lives with this amazing workout.
I have something to admit – I am a backpack kinda girl. I would rather rock a bp than a celine bag haha okay maybe not that extreme…but I have always loved backpacks so it was a no-brainer that when Lulu came out with a pack, I wanted it. Well, last week I picked one up so I could carry all my notebooks, mat, water, & goodies with me to my class this weekend. I kinda feel like I’m going back to school with a backpack, but you guys the zippers, pockets, and side pouches just make sense – I love being organized. I went for the Hot Pink one because I thought it was fun–i love color.

Lululemon Glass Water Bottle – this waterbottle is perfect for a workout (20oz) and it’s glass, which means no yucky carcinogens. I add strawberries, lemon, or limes to make my water taste delightful–plus it makes me drink more & faster!
Polar Heart Rate Monitor – to keep track of those kcals & heart rate.
Ray Ban Aviators - gotta protect the baby blues from the sun.
Coola Moisturizing Sunscreen – keep this is your workout bag so you’ll always be protected from those rays — wrinkles aren’t cute.
the lip slip – greatest lip gloss & moisturizer evs.
Kiehl’s hand cream – my hands are always dry (darn desert climate) but this stuff really works.
Bobbi Brown lippy in Sandwash pink–if you haven’t tried this color, you need too. It’s just a perfect everyday color.
Pilates Anatomy book, Journal, and iPad — just the essentials.
Rise protein bar in crunchy carob chip – this gluten free 5 ingredient protein bar is my fav. one on the market because it is simple & tastes good.
